1967 GIBSON SG SPECIAL – CHERRY

We present an all original 1967 Gibson SG Special in its original Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Overall, this Gibson SG special is in excellent condition with minor cosmetic wear. A very clean example that has been played but at the same time well kept. The original frets and nut are great with plenty of life left in them. All chrome hardware are clean and perfect including the original Maestro Vibrola. This solid mahogany body features one-piece mahogany neck and dark rosewood fretboard with pearl dot position markers. The original tuners are in great shape and works perfectly. A nice comfortable C- shape neck that is a joy to play. The original P-90’s pickups sound great and are well balanced. Just a stunning Gibson SG Special.

Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.

Wild Customs is a guitar workshop founded in 2008. Wild Customs is run by passionate craftsmen who share a love of vintage, custom work and traditional methods, Wild Customs develops new concepts that combine vintage inspiration with diverse influences from the worlds of art, car and motorbike culture and design.

Our instruments have found their way into the hands of some of the greatest rock'n'roll idols of our time. Richard Fortus from Guns N Roses owns one of his guitars, Mike Dirnt from Greenday calls a bass his own. We even designed a signature model for Billy Gibbons of ZZ TOP.
